Skipping College: Darius Miles and Sebastian Telfair

Two Portland Blazers are discussed in this recently updated report about basketball players who skip college. College hoops expert Van Coleman has some interesting thoughts about Blazers' rookie Sebastian Telfair:

"It was a surprise to all of us: Not that he got drafted, but that he went as high as he did," Coleman says. "He went ahead of a bunch of players that had a bigger initial return."

And:

"He will be a guy who runs the show -- he's closer to [Tony] Parker than he is to Marbury."

The most important thing though is that they don't skip being in the bleachers for NCAA tournament games, otherwise they'll embarass Mitch Albom.

We should all live our lives in such a way as to make Mitch's life easier.
